third Annual RACE TO SLOW THE PACE

at Bokisch Vineyards

 

This vineyard trail run is a 5K/10K fundraiser, aimed to connect people with nature, the environment and the family farms that feed them. The run fosters a connection to the land and the importance of slowing the pace of development to protect valuable farmland. This is a family-friendly event that welcomes all walkers, runners, strollers, and pets.

Race to Slow the Pace Schedule

 

      7:00 AM – Check in and on-site registration opens

      8:30 AM – Starting time for all 5k / 10k runners and walkers

      Brunch and awards ceremony to follow.

 

 

Registration Fees

      $60 Early Bird fee (until June 30)

     $65 Regular Registration fee (July 1 through September 16)

     $75 Race Day fee

Race to Slow the Pace runners will weave through the scenic Bokisch Vineyards, located on the east side of Lodi, kicking-off where the winery meets the vineyard, continuing through the property on a maintained terrain, taking in the vines and the habitat, and eventually crossing the finish line at Bokisch’s infamous oak tree picnic area. Runners and registered guests will be served a paella brunch with a glass of award-winning Bokisch wine.
